The Spruce top shows premium fine grain. The beautiful two-piece Maple back shows prominent broad curl descending from the center downward. This aged, Eastern European tone wood resonates like a Cathedral bell. The sound plates are graduated to perfection. The tinted varnish is a warm, Golden Amber/Burnt Sienna color over a  Gamboge ground.
