The two-piece Spruce top shows premium fine grain. The beautiful two-piece Maple back shows prominent broad curl descending from the center downward. The 50 year old, Eastern European tone wood has a tap tone of D4, considered by many to be perfect! The sound plates are graduated to perfection. The varnish is of a warm, Golden Amber/Burnt Sienna color over a Golden Gamboge ground.

This violin is impressive with clear harmonics, and full sonorous soprano voice rich in resonant overtones. It plays with remarkable sustain and impressive carry power. It possess’ perfect progression both up and down the fingerboard, and it is well balanced on all strings. The voice of this violin will please the most discriminating player.
